Perennial Dental is the private practice of Dr. William Newman, located at 3801 Bardstown Road in Louisville, Kentucky. For over fifty years, this office has provided exceptional dental care to the Louisville community, and Dr. Newman is honored to carry forward that legacy. Our practice proudly continues the tradition established by previous owners Dr. Frederick Schuette and Dr. Timothy Wahl, upholding the same core values of compassion and honesty that have kept families returning for generations. Dr. Newman chose the name "Perennial Dental" in 2023 to reflect both the proud history and bright future of this practice. The name honors the perennial tradition of families who have trusted us with their care across generations. It also represents our commitment to continuous growth—incorporating advancing dental technologies and procedures to provide the highest quality treatment while maintaining the personal touch that has always defined this office. Meet Dr. William Newman
Dr. Newman was inspired to be a dentist after he had a dental injury which required multiple dental procedures. At the time, he was feeling extreme dental pain, a worrying insecurity of people judging him by the appearance of his teeth, and terrified about the treatments that would be required. His dentist made him feel safe and comfortable during the many dental appointments, and was sensitive to his fears and emotions throughout the process. As a result of this experience, Dr. Newman was filled with overwhelming gratitude for his dentist and knew that he wanted to provide the same feeling to others. Dr. Newman’s personal mission is to make every patient feel safe and comfortable throughout their time at the dental office, and ultimately to provide them with a positive outlook and peace of mind about their dental health.
When Dr. Newman isn’t in the office, you can find him spending time with his family enjoying the wonderful parks around Louisville.
